The Temple of Binah Qabalah Meditation is a great aid with understanding, and improving the experience of, the practical Qabalah teachings.
Binah – Understanding
The spiritual experience of Binah is a Vision of Sorrow. Binah is the Universal mother who grieves for the loss of her children who cannot make the transition out of the darkness (ignorance) and into the light (understanding).
In guided meditation the student crosses the bridge of Daath and travels to the shores of Binah where you see the lonely vision of a mother grieving for the loss of her child as she walks – cloaked on black – by the edge of the shore. After a period of contemplation on the meaning of sorrow the mood changes as the love of your spiritual self takes over, and you hear the sound of your own spiritual note telling you all is well.
In Binah we understand that death is an illusion – it is simply moving from one state of existence into another. Meditating in the Temple of Binah helps to restore a loss of faith when times are challenging.
The next sephirah, and meditation to experience, is Chokmah. In Chokmah we explore the force of our Creative Power and the Power of Creative Imagination.
